Dr. Gerald Galloway -president of the American Water Resources Association and a civil engineering professor at the UMD- is a guest on the Diane Rehm's program on NPR. The program discusses U.S. Weather Patterns and Drought and will be aired at 10:00 a.m., Oct 22nd.

The guest are:

- Gerald Galloway, Research Professor, Glenn L. Martin Institute Professor of Engineering, University of Maryland former brigadier general in U.S. Army Corps of Engineers

- Mark Svoboda, climatologist, National Drought Mitigation Center

- Richard Heim, Meteorologist NOAA's National Climatic Data Center
